Fun activity for beginning Spanish students or a great review for an intermediate student. This includes two different games to practice using, reading, and listening for cognates!

Game one is Tócala, sometimes called Slap it! or Partner Matamoscas. Students listen for a word called and race to be the first to touch it! There are 2 game boards in Spanish and 2 game boards in English so you can call in either language. There is also a list for you to read off as you call!

Game two is memory! Students read and match simple, cognate-heavy sentences in Spanish to their English translation.
